Marc-Andre Fleury 2010-11 Mask

Marc-Andre Fleury of the Pittsburgh Penguins (born Nov. 28, 1984 in Sorel, QC.)

According to The Goalie Guild: "Painted by Stephane Bergeron at LaGriffe Originale, Fleury’s new mask for the season features more of the same elements he’s had for many years. On the right side, a more menacing and futuristic flower is wearing a glove and blocker. The word “Flower” is enscribed on the outer thumb-piece of the glove. The flower is also holding a black stick in the blocker hand. The flower is in front of a brick wall that covers the whole right side. The left side of the mask simply displays the retro Penguins logo from the 1970′s."

Edit: A commenter let me know that the logo displayed on the left side is not a retro log, but their current one. Thanks for the info!

Flower is Fleury's nickname.

  1. its a variation of the flower in goalie gear that he has had the last couple of years. its because he name means or translates into flower in french.
