Antti Raanta 2013-14 Mask

Antti Raanta of the Chicago Blackhawks (born May 12, 1989 in Rauma, Finland.)

Raanta was called up in November after Khabibulin went out with an injury.

  1. Raanta's mask was made by Pettri Karvinen who is the mask maker of a Finnish company called Wall Masks. He started about 15 years ago as a hobby and it grew from there to become one, if not the biggest mask maker in Finland with apparently 80% of the SM Liiga (Finnish Top League) goalies wearing them as well as a few playing in the KHL currently. I believe there are also a few other Finns in North America wearing them besides Raanta.

    The Painter is a gentleman named Joni "Bona" Hallikainen of Bona designs who also is based in Finland and has done quite a few masks for Finnish goalies. He has also done Keri Lehtonen's current mask.
