To be honest, I'm not even going to try to keep up with Thomas this season. I think he's had at least 4 or 5 masks already, and lots of pads too. I don't have the time to keep up.
Thomas was traded to Dallas in March.
Both of these photos are listed as March 20, 2014, so I don't even know which mask he's wearing.

Thomas changed pads sometime around late November or December.
Earlier pads.

I don't know if this information helps or not, his mask is a Sportmask Mage (mask+cage=Mage) that is a previous version of the mask he used to wear in Boston, like the original version I guess you could say. His stick is made by Graf. His pads, blocker, and trapper are all made by a man named Chris Piku of World Pro Goaltending. I'm guessing there are no logos on his gear because the companies I had mentioned have not paid the fees to the NHL to have their logos displayed. Thomas does have a painted model of his mask now as well :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I did see where he got new mask and pads recently, but I hadn't updated yet. I'll try to do that this weekend. Thanks for the info!

ReplyDeleteYou say worst mask. I say best visibility. I hate the modern masks. You can't look down without staring down into the chin section.
