Jean-Sebastien Giguere 2012-13 Mask

Jean-Sebastien Giguere of the Colorado Avalanche (born May 16, 1977 in Montreal, QC.)

Giguere debuted a new mask in March, found here.

Artist: Sylvie Poitras of Airbrushzap.com

On the right side you have a ”chercheur d’or” – gold prospector. You might imagine him with one of his teeth made of gold, but we decided to give him that tooth in the Avalanche’s burgundy. You’ll also see the repeating “Colorado” lettering and a bold 1876, the year Colorado became a state.
On the left side, as on so many Avalanche masks, we have included the Yeti.
The top of the mask features a large Avs logo toward the front with crumbling ice block ‘Avalanche’ lettering towards the back. On the chin we have Giggy’s number 35 overlaid on the Avs alternate logo – the Yeti footprint.

Giguere started the season with the same mask as last season seen here.
