The position of goalie has an inherent romanticism: masked men clad with cool armor, serving as the last line of defense. They play entire games, with an unparalleled ability to impact outcomes. When they're on, they can single-handedly defeat a giant foe. They are the consummate underdogs and towering superheroes all at once.

Me
I'm not a fan of posting photos of myself, but I realized some of you that follow me here might not know what I look like, and you might like to put a face with "Joezayfan." So here I am, a 40-yr-old librarian who loves hockey, goalies, and t-shirts ;o). And I'd appreciate it if you'd keep the mean comments to yourself. Haha.

You've really create an award winning website. Us goalies need something like this to get 'the low down' on NHL goalies. Great job! Should be extremely proud of yourself!

DeleteI honestly don't know about Luongo. I really feel that Toronto would be best for both teams involved. I think we all realize he would prefer Florida though. But Florida really doesn't need him (and that's not just me being a José fan.) Florida will have Markstrom ready soon, and there's no reason to give up a lot and saddle themselves with Lu's contract. Toronto really needs a veteran presence, and I think Lu could fill the spot for them. It sure is dragging out a loooong time though.
