Article in InGoal Magazine:

“The tribute design is created as a homage to the very first Mighty Ducks mask of Guy Hebert, designed by the legendary Dennis Simone and mask maker Ed Cubberly,” Gunarsson wrote on his Facebook page, adding the mask looks like Hebert’s “old school design” from a distance, but contains plenty of new details up close.
They include all the years Anaheim has been in the league, Hebert’s name and number, and small Ducks logos everywhere. There are also scratches, marks and even rust coming from the screws to add to the vintage effect."

Steve Mason 2013-14 Mask

Steve Mason of the Philadelphia Flyers (born May 29, 1988 in Oakville, ON.)

Mason has a new mask in 2014...his teammates as zombies!

Artist: Franny Drummond of Paint Zoo

Article at InGoal Magazine:
Mason’s mask is set during the signing of the Declaration of Independence and features Betsy Ross, Benjamin Franklin and George Washington – with a twist. All have been turned into zombies for Mason, who has always preferred scary, horror-themed lids.

Brian Elliott 2013-14 Mask

Brian Elliott of the St. Louis Blues (born April 9, 1985 in Newmarket, ON.)

Artist: Jason Livery of HeadStrongGrafx

Article at InGoal Magazine:
“He loves the idea of an iconic design like a Cujo, Potvin, or Belfour,” Livery said. “So we came up with this design keeping his moose trademark as the base of the design. This new design will  be the look for his masks from here on out.”
It has roots in Mr. Moose, the character that Elliott displayed on the backplate of past masks as a tribute to the late Owen Scott, a champion moose caller who taught Elliott the skill, something he has become well known for.

Pekka Rinne, 2013-14 Mask

Pekka Rinne of the Nashville Predators (born Nov. 3, 1982 in Kempele, Finland.)

It seems Rinne started wearing a different mask partway through the season.

And he also wore a special mask that was designed by a fan.
"This winter Nashville Predators ran a mask contest and the fans could draw a mask design for Pekka. I paint it and Pekka will use it for one game, and then the winner gets the mask!"

Mask from earlier in the season.
