The position of goalie has an inherent romanticism: masked men clad with cool armor, serving as the last line of defense. They play entire games, with an unparalleled ability to impact outcomes. When they're on, they can single-handedly defeat a giant foe. They are the consummate underdogs and towering superheroes all at once.

Jake Allen 2016-17 Mask
Jake Allen of the St. Louis Blues (born August 7, 1990 in Fredericton, NB.)

I guess since the season is almost over, I'll start with Allen's most recent mask and work backwards.
Beginning in February he wore a relatively plain mask...it appeared white with just a little color around the edges. If you look closer though, you see some designs in the white.
A February 13th article at NHL.com stated this in regards to a boy who visited him after sending him a sweet letter:
In some photos the mask looks white, but in closer photos you can see images in the white. I also read that he was getting a new mask, but it wasn't completed yet. He started having good luck, so he didn't want to have it finished. I really don't know if that's true though...maybe he just wanted it like this.

"Allen showed him his white mask with the three Blues logos, a Canadian flag, his dog's initials and his grandfather's initials..."

You can plainly see a Blues logo on this side:
Earlier in the season he wore one of his "Jake the Snake" masks.
In at least one game in March he wore a Blue Angels tribute mask.
He wore these pads the latter part of the season.
Earlier in the season he also wore the mask he ended last season with.
These are the pads he began the season with.
St. Louis participated in the Winter Classic, and here is his gear for that:
