I'm not a fan of posting photos of myself, but I realized some of you that follow me here might not know what I look like, and you might like to put a face with "Joezayfan." So here I am, a 40-yr-old librarian who loves hockey, goalies, and t-shirts ;o). And I'd appreciate it if you'd keep the mean comments to yourself. Haha.

"The colours: Canucks green and blue are dominant, while a sharp chrome cage gives the mask a sleek feel. On the left and right sides the Canucks orca is present, albeit with bubbles above his head as part of an underwater theme, while the chin has CANUCKS written several times. Look closer through each of the aforementioned areas and native orcas are found in the background. Free Agency News

Here are the deals that I know about since Free Agency opened on Sunday.

NYR and Martin Biron agree to a 2 year deal worth a total of $2.6M, AAV of $1.3M.

DET agrees to terms with Jonas Gustavsson on a 2 year deal worth a total of $3M.

The Florida Panthers have signed Scott Clemmensen to a 2 year, $2.4M deal.

The Philadelphia Flyers signed Michael Leighton to a 1-year deal (I've heard it's for $900,000, but I'm not positive.)

Columbus Blue Jackets sign G Curtis McElhinney to a one-year, two-way contract.

Chris Mason re-signs with Nashville 1 yr $1.25 plus bonuses.

St Louis Blues sign Mike Mckenna, a St. Louis native, to two way contract.

Jussi Rynnas has re-signed with Toronto, accepting a two-way, one-year deal.

NJ Devils re-sign Martin Brodeur for two years, $9 million.

Johan Hedberg agrees to 2 year deal with Devils. Includes full no-trade clause.

Henrik Lundqvist - 2012 Vezina Award Winner

I realized I didn't post photos of Hank after he won the Vezina at the 2012 NHL Awards.

His lovely wife, Therese, wasn't able to attend the Awards show due to her advanced pregnancy, so here is a photo of the two of them at an event on June 12, 2012.

Such a beautiful couple, and I look forward to the happy news when their little girl is born.
