Halak started the season with a different mask and he seemed to switch between the two a lot.
The position of goalie has an inherent romanticism: masked men clad with cool armor, serving as the last line of defense. They play entire games, with an unparalleled ability to impact outcomes. When they're on, they can single-handedly defeat a giant foe. They are the consummate underdogs and towering superheroes all at once.
About early October-when he switched to the first mask-and up until around February-March, Halak switched from the white Warwick mask (http://dielairbrush.ca/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/halak-12.jpg) to the White CCM mask (http://dielairbrush.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/halak-1.jpg). Afterwards (and especially during playoffs) he wore the first mask on the road as well as at home.
ReplyDeleteHe switched to the blue one full-time in February.
