Matt Murray 2019-20

Matt Murray of the Pittsburgh Penguins (born May 25, 1994 in Thunder Bay, ON.)

Artist: Stephane Bergeron of Griff Airbrush

Murray's masks are very similar year to year, but there are small differences.

Carey Price 2019-20 Mask

Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens (born August 16, 1987 in Anahim Lake, BC.)

I'm a little confused about Price's mask this season. This is the picture Dave Gunnarsson posted in September 2019.

He said it's a Kryptec style, which I'd never heard of before. I looked it up, and it's a type of camouflage pattern.
But I was not able to find any pictures of Price wearing this mask. I ran across a picture Dave posted of it along with two other Canadiens' masks he painted in their arena early on, but no in-game photos or even any practice photos of him wearing it.

All I found find him wearing this season was this mask:

And that is a mask from the previous season. Here is a short video of that, and it's dated March 27, 2018. (Although I couldn't find it on my site from last season, so maybe it was a mid-season change that I missed.)

I'm a little confused on Price's mask, but it's not the first time a goalie has a new mask painted, and then doesn't end up wearing it much, or at all. If anyone has any pictures of him wearing that Kryptek mask, I'd be interested in seeing them.

Antti Raanta 2019-20 Mask

Antii Raanta of the Arizona Coyotes (born May 12, 1989 in Rauma, Finland.)

Artist: Dave Gunnarsson

Raanta has had more than one mask this season. Dave referred to them as a mask series paying tribute to the wildlife of Arizona.

The rattlesnake edition.

This Kachina mask pays tribute to the coyote.
