I can't say with 100% certainty, but I'm pretty sure this save occurred in this game:
November 22, 2005 - defeated Atlanta, 1-0 (Ilya Kovalchuk save, Peter Bondra save, Marian Hossa SUPER save) (Ok, I added the "super" part, but it was super! Check it out!)
I'd seen a still photo from the save quite a while ago, and here it is.
And here's the video...I have no idea what the announcers are saying, but they are pretty stoked.
The position of goalie has an inherent romanticism: masked men clad with cool armor, serving as the last line of defense. They play entire games, with an unparalleled ability to impact outcomes. When they're on, they can single-handedly defeat a giant foe. They are the consummate underdogs and towering superheroes all at once.

My Favorite Goalie, José Theodore
Thanks to a friend of mine for sending me some really great photos of my favorite goalie.
Stop on by my José Blog for more photos and info on this great guy.

A face shower.
Here he is with his wife, Stephanie before the NHL Awards.
Here's a post I made showing even more NHL Awards photos in my José blog.
And I have the 8X10 photo that he is autographing there. I mean that actual one. The person who I bought it from on eBay got it that night, and they took a photo of him signing it. So it's almost like I was there...
And lastly, here he was at the 2002 NHL Awards when he won the Vezina and Hart.

Mask of the Week--Josh Harding, Minnesota Wild
I missed a week due to problems with my eyes, but I can see well enough to post now. So this week I pick one of Josh Harding's Minnesota Wild masks. I am 99% sure this was his mask during the 2009-10 season. I love the wild cat coming through the top of the helmet with its kitty claws out. Very cool.

Photos from Henrik's Gold in the Net Camp this Summer
I found some photos of Henrik's time at Gold in the Net back home in Sweden. I'm sure these kids are so psyched to be able to learn from Henrik!!
