The Capital...Yeah, I've been biting my nails. <br /><br />The Capitals only signed him to a 2-year contract at the time, because they had 2 young goalies in their system that they planned to be their future. They just wanted a veteran to get them through those next couple years so the youngsters could get up to par and get some experience. Both kids are 22, and they wanted to go with them, so they didn't resign José when he became a free agent.
